- The Accounting Department was recognized for receiving the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 27th consecutive year.
- The county has recently been honored by First Lady Laura Bush, Honorary Chair of the Preserve America initiative, designating it as one of the nation’s newest Preserve America Communities.
- Mr. Stegmaier provided an update on several of the “Top 40” critical projects being worked on by county staff.
