How do I apply

Chesterfield County only accepts online applications. Visit this site any time 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Scan available positions and then complete an application online. You may even save your application electronically and resubmit it as new positions of interest become available. You also may start an application, save it, and complete it at a later time. All applications must be completed and submitted by 5:00 pm on the closing date indicated.

1. A Gateway Chesterfield account is required to apply for a job.

2. How to apply
   Online applications are made available through the Gateway Chesterfield system. Complete the requested information to register as a Gateway Chesterfield user. In addition to providing your basic information, you will be asked to create a username (e- mail address is acceptable) and password, which ensures the security of your information and enables you to continue using the system in the future. Follow all directions as indicated throughout the online application system.
   In addition to applying for jobs, you may use Gateway Chesterfield to access other online services provided by the county.
