Placement Process
Initially, referral resources, the individual and family members will
meet to determine whether placement at the Youth Group Home is appropriate
and to discuss objectives.
Admission is most efficient when these guidelines are followed:
- A parent or legal guardian must accompany the individual
- Medical information must be made available at admission, including
a recent physical and psychiatric evaluation if there is a history
of
prior hospitalization or use of psychotropic medication
- A completed application for admission is required.
