VADV is statewide coalition of individuals, agencies and organizations dedicated to the elimination of personal and societal violence in the lives of women and children. VADV operates the statewide toll-free family violence & sexual assault hotline (1-800-838-8238) and provides training, technical assistance and support to local domestic violence programs and other organizations /professionals. VADV also provides training, public education and awareness, and public policy monitoring and development.

VAASA is the Virginia Coalition of Sexual Assault Crisis Centers working on behalf of victims of sexual assault and fostering social change toward the elimination of sexual assault in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

VAASA provides support and information concerning the problems, needs and rights of sexual assault victims, their families and friends. The Coalition provides technical assistance and training, public policy monitoring, a resource library, a quarterly newsletter and networking of services between sexual assault centers allied professionals and their communities.

NCADV is dedicated to the empowerment of battered women and their children and therefore is committed to the elimination of personal and societal violence in the lives of battered women and their children.
